What values or life lessons do you strive to instill in your child, and how do they embody those values?

Kindness, she is the kindest little girl I know. To everyone and anyone. Empathy, she understands other people's situations and try to be comforting. She is be very apt to say I love you to anyone she cares about, it's important to tell and show loved ones and Samara embodies this truly. Discipline, this comes from her school, from teachers and her files.

What aspirations or dreams does your child have for their future? How do they plan to achieve them?

I am Nurse/midwife. She aspires to be like her Mummy especially because I get to deal with mothers and babies, she really loves kids, she tells me this is the reason she'd like to be a Nurse.

What do you believe makes Samara Wangui truly special and deserving to win this contest?

Samara never shies off from her emotions. She feels all of them without shame or fear of being penalized. She also speaks up. Making known her needs and wants. Even when other kids try to bully her, she stands up for herself.

1. "The Next Child Star Contest" is a Competition fully sponsored by The Next Star, a product of BTechnologies Enterprises LTD. An Organization registered in compliance with International laws and the Laws of the Federation of Kenya.

2. It is an Online Competition, which finds its operandi similar to other talent competitions like the America Got Talent show, The Big Brother Africa, MTN Project fame among others.

3. Registration to Participate in "The Next Child Star Contest" is Completely FREE. Note this.

4. Like in every other Contest, "The Next Child Star Contest" enshrines prizes for Its Winners.

1st Position: A Golden Luxe Plaque and a Monetary award of KSh100,000 (One Hundred Thousand Kenyan Shillings only)

2nd Position: A Monetary award of KSh20,000 (Twenty Thousand Kenyan Shillings only)

3rd position: A Monetary award of KSh10,000 (Ten Thousand Kenyan Shillings only)

5. Winners of "The Next Child Star Contest" are selected by a Simple-Majority Voting system.

6. The Voting system entails a transparent form of anyone visiting a contestant voting link and then voting for them. 1 vote is KSh20 (Twenty Kenyan Shillings only). And anyone can vote for a contestant as much times as possible.

7. Payment made as Vote on any Contestant (while in contest and afterwards) would not be refunded.

8. In the Policy of enjoining Transparency, Live updates on scores of each Contestant, are made Public and available on the Contest’s website via https://thenextchildstarkenya.com/photocontest - coupled with personalized mails and text messages forwarded to parents/guardians of each contestant daily.

9. As by Law, Participation in "The Next Child Star Contest" is completely Voluntary and Contestant can discontinue at anytime, with the Caveat of Votes counted, being lost and not refunded.

10. "The Next Child Star Contest" acts in Good faith in Accordance with International Laws and the Laws of the Federation of Kenya.
