What values or life lessons do you strive to instill in your child, and how do they embody those values?
I strive to teach Maeve the values of kindness, respect, honesty, and gratitude. I want her to grow up knowing how to love and care for others, to always say the truth, and to appreciate even the little things in life. Even at her young age, she already shows kindness when she shares her toys and helps her friends. She says ‘thank you’ and ‘sorry’ without being told, little signs that she’s growing up with a good heart. I hope to continue guiding her to become a compassionate, respectful, and strong girl as she grows.
What aspirations or dreams does your child have for their future? How do they plan to achieve them?
Maeve is still very young, but she already loves to play pretend and dreams of being many things, sometimes she wants to be a doctor, sometimes a teacher, and other times a princess! As her mum, I plan to nurture all her little dreams by giving her a safe, loving environment to explore her talents and interests. I will support her education, encourage her creativity, and teach her good values so that whatever she decides to be in the future, she will have the confidence and skills to achieve it
What do you believe makes Maeve shelmith truly special and deserving to win this contest?
Maeve is truly special because she has the purest heart and the brightest smile that lights up any room. Even at just 4 years old, she brings so much joy to everyone around her with her laughter, hugs, and kind words. She’s curious, playful, and always ready to make new friends. Maeve deserves to win this contest because she is a reminder of the beauty of innocence, love, and hope, she makes the world a little happier just by being herself.
